Night of the Flame Beast

Aaand another request done! This one's for you Dutchcrafter!

Again I made use of the water colours, this time for a nightly sky scene! And again I like how it turned out. Water colouring is here to stay for sure
The stars do look a little odd, but oh well.
I've never drawn a phoenix before and I didn't know where to start. That's why I looked up some Philomena screenshots to get a look at a few positions.
Another problem were the lightning / shadowing effects, I couldn't get them right after minutes of trying so I decided to leave them out, sorry
